Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in Corporate Security, Military or law Enforcement.
Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required.
Master's degree or PhD.
Experience as an open source researcher in the public or private sector, using social media to conduct threat research focused on risk.
Experience supporting decision-makers with intelligence about emerging threats, potential issues of concern or imminent crisis.
Experience using technology to track threats/risks or escalate items of potential concern and G Suite.
Experience thinking critically, analyzing information and summarizing findings in writing.
Developed interpersonal skills and effective written and verbal communication skills.

As a Regional Security Intel Specialist, you will use open source material to find, research and assess information that could indicate a potential threat or concern to Google and its employees. You will create detailed reports of incidents using an incident management reporting systems and assist in incident response. In this role, you will help develop protocols and practices to assess and mitigate threats to Google, drive efficiency and manage crises.

Use open source material to find, research and assess information that could indicate a potential threat or concern to Google or its employees.
Collect, evaluate and disseminate intelligence to support action plans based on credibility and likelihood in collaboration with Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Managers and Intelligence Analysts.
Support the development of protocols and practices to assess and mitigate threats to Google, drive efficiency and manage crises.
Provide intelligence support to the GSOC in incident response, crisis management and global travel management.
