Position Summary :
This role will be responsible for providing administrative support for the HR department, assisting with the hiring process to include participating in new hire orientation, and entering a high volume of employment records into our HR database. Will provide benefits / 401k / compensation administration support. He / she complies with company policies and applicable laws and regulations. May perform other coordinator duties as required.

This assignment is expected to be approximately 2-3 months in duration.

Position Responsibilities:
Administration: 80%

Perform administrative work, including handling visit requests and maintaining files
Perform high volume data entry
Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files e.g., interview documents, I-9's. Support processing and maintenance of payroll records in accordance with policies and procedures, as necessary.
Coordinate with internal partners as necessary
Assist HRBPs and payroll as needed
Generate Human Resources data reports as necessary
Serve as liaison for all termination activities.
Other activities: 20%

Assist with other HR issues as required
May take on small independent projects
Other duties as assigned

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:
Education:
S. diploma, some college a plus

Experience:
2-3 years of work experience, experience with various HRIS, benefits, 401k administration, and payroll interface.
Ability to quickly gain solid knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws required.
Previous HR experience in the government contracting industry preferred

Communication Skills Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must.

Technical Systems Proficiency:
Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office applications is essential.
ADP Workforce NOW and Costpoint experience preferred. Knowledge of Deltek Time and Sharepoint a plus

Travel Required:
10% Domestic possible

This position is a temporary contract position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed. Contractors are employed by a 3rd party vendor and placed on assignment to Airbus in America.
