This exciting opportunity is located at our Troy, MI location.
Responsibilities and duties:
To design /develop and implement manufacturing processes and machinery in line with Delphi QCP that meet current minimum FTQ OF 95% and 95% uptime within the in Production Assembly & Test Engineering department
To provide technical support and expertise of assembly test processes in order to continuously improve manufacturing performance with regard to productivity output and cost.
To assist in the development and implementation of quality and productivity improvements, including updating and maintenance of the quality plan, process control docs, scrap reduction, OEE,
QRCM containment and root cause actions assistance to Quality team
To ensure the effective management within the production area in line with company policies and procedures, of engineering change, product revisions and upgrade and ensure the cost effective and timely new product introduction.
To generate and maintain all line manufacturing documentation in line with Delphi Quality control plan
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
6+ months of experience working with Diesel FIE/Reman
Mechanical Design knowledge
Problem solving machine issues both Assembly & Test
Hydraulic / pneumatic experience
PC / PLC machine interfaces
SQL database query writing and database
C++ VB Software knowledge an advantage
Oscilloscope knowledge ( small signal measurement)
Electronics design experience
