The Program Manager will plan, organize and implement recruitment activities for Iacocca Institute Programs, as well as implement and support Institute partner relationship activities for both internal and external partners.

Accountabilities:
Organization and implementation of Institute program recruiting and selection efforts
Work with the Institute Director to develop and implement international and domestic recruiting plans for Iacocca programs including Iacocca Global Village and other programs as assigned
For Iacocca Global Village this will include, in addition to recruiting, on-campus recruiting of Lehigh students and local recruiting from Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges (LVAIC) schools; review and update website information, application and other online interfaces and keep the Director of Communications informed of all event management and changes
Create a calendar timeline for recruiting deadlines and major recruiting dates that should be shared with Institute team and the Office of International Affairs (OIA); arrange communication with all partners at the start of recruiting season
Organize and deliver presentations to on-campus partners and other educational and professional networks, both in-person and virtually; hold zoom information sessions for potential candidates from partner Universities; determine which, if any, partners and countries should be visited in person
Work with Alumni to identify candidates in target regions and countries; hold information zoom sessions with Global Village Network Chapter Directors
Maintain relationships and manage all follow up with the support of the Institute Coordinator; organize and convene selection board(s) for Global Village admissions and scholarship recommendations, to be later approved by the Director
Respond to inquiries, manage and track all communications with interested candidates; manage candidate application and selection process, including facilitation of immigration forms in collaboration with the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) Director
Work with the Institute Coordinator to manage invoicing and collection of program fees upon acceptance; at appropriate stage, manage transition of all information and responsibility for the participant to the operational team
Manage relationship activities for active Institute partnerships and collaborations
Maintain documents and manage processes related to all Institute Memo of Understanding (MOUs), tracking all agreements, ensuring and supporting proper procedures for creating and updating MOUs, working closely with Institute Director and OIA Global Partnerships Director
Track deliverables and outcomes for each MOU and prepare reports; manage updates and ensure accuracy of partner contact information; develop, organize and implement ongoing partner communication plans, working with the Institute Director
Track and report partner metrics, progress against goals and identify priorities and solutions to improve performance; coordinate contact information inclusion into MoveOn as appropriate
Manage communications and process for active collaborations with internal Lehigh partners, including other OIA divisions, working with the Institute Director and the OIA Director of Communication and Marketing; provide end-to-end management of partner visits to campus and Institute visits to partners; working with the Institute Director on the agenda and coordinating all aspects of the visit and follow ups
Institute marketing communications plan implementation
Working with the Institute Director and the Director of OIA communications, develop and implement Institute marketing communication plans that positions the Institute and supports program and partner recruitment
Working with the Institute Director, Program Directors and the Director of OIA Communications, develop and execute social media and website content strategies
Plan and implement Giving Day communications strategy; ensure availability of appropriate electronic and print materials for on- and off-campus events and trips
Assist in pre-planning for partner and Alumni visits, conferences and campus events; manage follow-up activities and communications
Alumni relations support
Manage Institute communications and information-sharing with the Global Village Network President/Executive board and Lehigh Alumni relations, working with the Institute Director and the Director of International Alumni Relations
Manage and analyze Alumni data, with support from the Institute Coordinator, preparing reports for the Institute Director, team and Alumni Relations
Assist in planning meetings with Alumni during the Institute Director and OIA international travel
Meet with Alumni when they visit Lehigh campus
Invite Alumni to appropriate Lehigh events; design process for improving Institute knowledge of Alumni careers and accomplishments
New business development support
Develop and manage partner prospect lists and tracker, working with the Institute Director to prioritize and follow up on promising opportunities
Proactively identify people and institutions that may be of interest to pursue
Work with the Institute Director and the OIA Director of Communications and Marketing to determine strategy and approach to Giving Day and coordinate communications and implementation
Investigate potential funding opportunities and along with the Institute Director, apply for grants that leverage Institute strengths and support Lehigh goals; depending on nature of funding/grants opportunity identified, interact with the VP International Affairs, Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, OIA Development Director and/or appropriate process and criteria for assessing and pursuing opportunity
Determine timeline required to submit proposals and funding requests and coordinate proposal processes, working with the Institute Director to form a team and acting as liaison and process-owner with internal Lehigh and external collaborators
Serve as the administrative point person for assembling necessary materials and submissions
Identify conferences and other opportunities to meet potential collaborators and partners, as well as forums and events at which the Institute should be visible as participants, presenters and sponsors

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree preferred
Three to five years related work experience
Program or project management
Recruitment, Sales or client relationship management
Customer relations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent writing ability, organizational skills and attention to detail
Solid analytical, decision making and problem solving skills
Solid computer skills with experience using word processing and spreadsheet software
Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, county and national criminal background checks, PATCH, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance. Based upon the requirements of the position Lehigh may also request credit history reports, motor vehicle checks and professional license/certification verification

Special Considerations:
This position is funded by soft dollars; there is no severance associated with this position
This position is responsible for driving university-owned vehicles as a routine function, therefore a valid Driver’s License and a good driving record is required
This position works with minors
Periods of high volume/workload may be required during recruiting or candidate selection periods
Occasional evening, holiday or weekend hours
Occasional domestic and/or international travel related to recruiting or offsite programs
