We are looking for an Information Security Analyst Associate to work in our Annapolis Junction, MD office.

Essential Job Functions:
General understanding of the 8500.1/8500.2 Directives and Information Assurance (IA) Guidance. This includes knowledge of the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) life cycle and familiarity with DIACAP methodology, processes, and implementation as it relates to ensuring compliance with the DoD connection rules.
Assess DISN subscriber environment security posture and topology, reviewing security relevant documentation, and preparing technical papers discussing the results of this analysis.
Perform Connection Approval Process assessments of certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation, DIACAP packages, DISN subscriber environment information system and technology's security posture in compliance with DoD IA policy and agency guidance, including DoD 8500 series and NIST special publications.
Assist customers in resolving connection issues associated with their connection requests, and recommend solutions to bring their systems/networks/ architectures into compliance with connection requirements
Review and recommend information assurance (IA) solutions to customer problems based on an understanding of how products and services interrelate and supports the IA mission and the mission of the customer

Required Qualifications:
Interim or Active DoD Secret clearance
BA/BS, 0+ years experience
IAT Level II certification (Current GSEC, Security+ with evidence of continuing education, SSCP, or CCNA-Security)
Knowledgeable of Security/IA products such as PKI, VPN, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
Familiarity with DITPR, Cyberspace, eMASS and vulnerability scanning such as Retina and ACAS
Understanding of information systems and architectures
