The Project Coordinator is responsible for all project support activities, including but not limited to meeting coordination, creation of a project calendar, documenting meeting minutes, developing project strategies and various administrative tasks to a specific team or client. She/he will also serve as a member of the Project Management Office.
Provides input to and manages the overall project plan or a part of program plan, issue tracking, change management, risk management and communications
Prepares regular status reports and distributes internally, and externally if necessary
Ensures documents and major digital assets are complete, current, and stored appropriately
Ensures project management process and procedures are adhered to for all assigned projects
Serves as liaison between client and project team
Uses approved project management techniques to track progress against planned targets throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans to meet the needs of clients, as directed by PMO
Works with manager and/or Client Ops Director to raise and confirm resolutions on project hurdles that threaten cost, schedule or project scope and make adjustments to project plan(s) as required
Obtains feedback and tracks opportunities for process improvement, lessons learned, program enhancements, and strategic alignment with business objectives from project teams
Develops functional understanding of business processes, functions and products of Starcom Qualifications
Between 1-3 years of relevant work experience required
BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications preferred
Knowledge of software development, marketing services, or digital media industries preferred
Knowledge of a variety of project management methodologies including Agile, PMBOK, Six Sigma and SDLC
Must be in the process of obtaining Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification
Must have excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills.
Solid facilitation and problem-solving skills and ability to focus both strategically and tactically to achieve business goals
Excellent business and communication skills (written and verbal)
Highly skilled in time management to facilitate involvement in multiple projects
Experience with Microsoft Visio and Project, as well as SharePoint required
Experience with Google Suite of office solutions (gmail, calendar, drive, etc.)
