We are a growing firm, doubling in size over the last five years and on track for continued growth in the years ahead. Our small but mighty in-house agency composed of talented creative operations specialists, designers, and writers has kept pace with the firm’s increasing demand for creative deliverables, but the team is at an inflection point when it comes to scaling for the future. We’re searching for a leader who can set the function up for continued success and drive brand strategy at an enterprise level, while supporting our various vertical-specific goals.
The Brand and Creative Associate Director is responsible for connecting our creative approach to the firm’s business strategy, providing overall creative leadership and operational oversight of the firm’s creative team. This leader will develop a deep understanding of the firm’s business strategy and familiarity with unique service line challenges, collaborating with the business on innovative solutions to address opportunities and challenges in a holistic manner. The Brand and Creative Associate Director directs and inspires the creative team, ensuring they have the resources, tools, and operational processes to do their best creative work, deliver value to the firm, and provide an exceptional client experience. The ideal candidate will have successfully developed and delivered on a vision for a best-in-class, scalable creative function and provided enterprise-level oversight of an omni-channel brand strategy.

Responsibilities:
- Own the vision, development, and deployment of the Moss Adams brand, influencing business decisions across the firm and driving creative excellence
- Serve as career advisor to senior creative team members in both creative and operations; provide coaching and mentoring, guiding the team in achieving the highest possible standards
- Be the voice of the brand throughout the firm, building trust, respect, and credibility with stakeholders, management peers, direct reports, and C-level executives
- Oversee the creative development process, including identifying resources, creative concepting, and art direction
- Identify opportunities to bring the brand into the conversation in creative ways by being on the pulse of trends, innovation, and culture
- Dive deep into quantitative data around business, client and prospect perceptions and behavior and translate it into clear, actionable creative direction
- Set the strategy for development of tools, programs, and materials to drive brand-building and other growth efforts
- Guide the creative operations team in managing senior client relationships, creating workflow efficiencies, managing budgets, developing creative guidelines and providing full-service support to clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; emphasis in Graphic Design, English, Journalism, Communications, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 13 years of creative experience across a combination of agency, studio, production company, or in-house, or related experience in a complex organization required; including demonstrated involvement with building and leading high performing teams and fostering an inclusive culture; experience in a public accounting or professional services firm preferred
- Demonstrated command of creative methods and tools with a background in either copywriting or design—but must have a strong sensibility for both
- Strong command of marketing principals, current/emerging technologies, and design and copy application in both print and digital mediums
- Exceptional portfolio with a range of experience in brands, design, marketing, and channels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present to large and small groups
- Demonstrated success in influencing and contextualizing brands for executives and stakeholders from a variety of disciplines
- Experience managing workflows and creative with Marketing Work/Resource Management and Digital Asset Management tools
- Strong executive presence and demonstrated leadership skills, good judgement, and ability to effectively interface with employees and leaders at all levels within the firm
- Ability to travel as needed, approximately 5%
