Institutional Research and Assessment
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 semester hours in statistics and a minimum of 6 semester hours in algebra, geometry, calculus, or statistics at the college level; and
Two (2) years (24 months) of work experience that required the use of statistical, graphical, spreadsheet, and database software packages, such as SAS, SPSS, Excel and Access.

A master’s degree in higher education, educational research, the social or behavioral sciences, or a related field is required, Ph.D. preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in institutional research or applied research in higher education.
Demonstrated experience in quantitative research design and data analysis.
Proficiency in SPSS syntax, Excel, and Access.
Strong analytic skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate large projects across departments and work successfully with faculty, staff, and administrators.
Experience using Cognos is also a plus.
$70,000-$75,000 annual salary

The Senior Research Analyst reports directly to the Executive Director. This position is an integral part of the Institutional Research team responsible for managing and conducting institutional data collection and analysis in response to federal, state, and institutional reporting requirements and requests.
