Full Job Description
Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. statistics, bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, applied mathematics, or similar) or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of relevant work experience (i.e. as a Statistician/Bioinformatician/Data Scientist/data Analyst/Clinical Informaticist) working on observational clinical data.
Experience working with data sets,
Experience with SQL, Python or similar.
Experience with clinical data warehouses and/or analysis of electronic health records.
Experience with statistical data analysis such as hypothesis testing, linear models, multivariate analysis, predictive modeling.

Google AI aims to use machine learning (ML) and other tools to improve healthcare. We work closely with partners to research and explore solutions that improve the availability and accuracy of medical services.
As a Data Analyst you'll analyze rich structured and unstructured healthcare datasets. You'll serve as an analytics expert, ensure data quality, build ML models, and deliver meaningful insights through data. You'll make critical recommendations for your fellow Googlers in Engineering and Product Management.
Our team combines experts in medicine, machine learning, engineering, statistics and more to support clinical breakthroughs using a variety of techniques. Our work spans from many projects, including medical image diagnosis, medical event predictions, automatic speech recognition and more. We’ve partnered with medical researchers, bioinformaticians, and healthcare partners to explore how machine learning combined with clinical expertise could improve patient outcomes. We regularly publish in leading industry journals.
Work with large, complex datasets to solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems.
Design automation tools for data cleaning, validation and verification.
Define data quality metrics and automated reports to provide insight at scale.
Summarize data to draw insights or answer business questions.
Apply statistical methods to measure data quality and detect data anomaly.
