We implement and maintain solutions that integrate multiple applications to address data and analytical needs for Asymmetric Operations Sector (AOS) leaders, sponsors and financial community,
As a Web Application Developer you will…
Be responsible for designing, developing and supporting AOS web applications in a variety of frameworks and technologies including C#/MVC and SQL Server.
Work with stakeholders throughout the sector, including sector-level management, program management, project teams, and end-users to identify requirements.
Leverage business intelligence and visualization tools and techniques to design, develop, and implement comprehensive automated solutions that support decision making and sector requirements.
Work as part of a team supporting 12 applications while developing new applications
You meet our minimum qualifications if you have….
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT), Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle, including frameworks like Agile.
Experience with software source control best practices, including GIT and Subversion.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple tasks with high attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new processes and technologies.
Ability to function well both in a team environment, and as a self-directed individual contributor.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
You’ll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you have….
Master’s Degree in Data Analytics, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
Experience with SQL Server or Oracle relational databases, including knowledge of database design and SQL.
Experience delivering visualization solutions using a broad range of delivery methods including structured analytics dashboards, decision support models, and ad-hoc reporting with at least one of the following: Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, D3.
Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of tools, including Excel and Microsoft Project.
