Culinary Operations Leader

Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the culinary units and catering events to include food quality, guest/ team member safety, team member training, guest satisfaction/ service and compliance with health codes & labor laws
Ensure that facility integrity, cleanliness and organization are maintained at the highest levels at all times of the year
Interview, hire, and schedule leadership staff
Train and develop team members and supervisory team while ensuring proper training and development in accordance with SEA guidelines
Develop labor budget
Review inventory and requisitions and purchase food supplies as required
Ensure food quality and sanitation standards are met to prevent cross-contamination while upholding the SEA safety guidelines
Manage labor, cost of sales, and expense for assigned areas
During off-season: prepare bids, set up food units, and develop strategy to implement operational changes for upcoming season
Consistently enforce and practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), lifting and reporting unsafe situations

Requirements and Competencies:
Bachelors degree in Food Service, Hospitality, or related field preferred
Three (3) years leadership experience required
Food service experience preferred
Theme park or multi unit experience preferred
Must be proficient in MS Office
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Must have strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds, experiences and personalities
Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines
Must have or be able to obtain the National Restaurant Association’s ServeSafe Food Protection Manager Certification
Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines
Must be willing to comply and ensure all team members comply with all SEA grooming
