Full Job Description
Duties: Obtain informed consents and administer study questionnaires. Assist clinicians with study exams and specimen collection. Process study specimens according to study protocols for local repository. Collect patient specimens and other study related data as per study protocol.
Contact subjects to schedule appointments as per established procedures. Assist with verifying specimens and preparing periodic shipments of delivery by overnight mail to central laboratories. Stock study clinics supplies and assist with tracking of lab results. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in health, social services or science field.
Minimum 1-year experience working with people in a health care or research setting. Excellent interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Spanish speaking. Prior work experience in ambulatory care setting.
Ability to perform vital signs, phlebotomy and experience with processing clinical specimens. Previous work with HIV/AIDS population. Proficiency in Word and Excel. Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm with some evenings, 37.5 hours per week.
