The Field Office Assistant is responsible for performing routine clerical and organizational tasks that effectively support the operations of a telecommunications construction field office.
Provide administrative support on various telecommunications construction projects
Assist field operations with the completion of daily time sheets
Verifying the accuracy and performing quality checks of various payroll, production and billing information
Assist with the preparation and updating of cable system maps to show construction progress.
Communicate with corporate office, customer & subcontractors to resolve any issues with submitted paperwork.
Operate fax machines, videoconferencing and phone systems, and other office equipment.
Perform data entry as needed.
Use computers for spreadsheets, word processing, database management, and other applications.
Complete forms in accordance with company policies & procedures
Field telephone calls, receive and direct visitors.
Performing other various clerical duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Must have strong/advanced computer capabilities in Microsoft Word, Excel, email & internet research
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work on multiple projects with short term goals.
Problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail are required.
Must have outstanding quality control skills.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to pass criminal background and drug screening.
Must be authorized to work in the United States
