CACI is seeking a cleared Software Engineer at Aberdeen Proving Ground MD or Annapolis Junction, MD. As a team member of the I2WD Infrastructure and Technology Architecture Team, you will get to develop and program Software Defined Radio (SDR) solutions in REDHAWK framework, attend technical interchange conferences and collaborate with other engineers, present your research and findings in solving the programs technical challenges, and contribute to the programs overall success.

What You’ll Get to Do:
Design and implement signal processing algorithms in C/C++
Develop future adaptation of signal processing solutions to new signal types
Expand on your experience with radio frequency (RF) communications and/or radar systems
Participate in events, exercises, and experimentation in support of the REDHAWK Center of Excellence
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with Poly
BS in software engineering and 8 years of experience
Familiar with developing signal processing algorithms in C/C++/Python/Java based on other implementations or straight math descriptions, e.g., IEEE paper
Familiar with Linux based OS (ex. CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.)
Familiar with SDR frameworks like GNU Radio and ability to port algorithms between frameworks
Familiar with installing, running, configuring, and writing X-MIDAS applications
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Familiarity with signal processing techniques including energy detection, channelization, phase coherency, Doppler compensation, demodulation, etc. (spread spectrum signals/systems in particular)
Familiarity with Linux command line utilities and bash scripting
Familiarity with Git version control
Familiarity with installing and using software from Linux repositories and building projects from source
Experience with MATLAB filter design
Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs
Self-starter with good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
Familiarity with lab test equipment like signal generators and spectrum analyzers
Experience with radio frequency (RF) communications and/or radar systems
