When Garmin products come back home, our reverse logistics team makes sure everything goes smoothly. It’s not just processing consumer and retail returns; there’s also reboxing new and newly overhauled units for return to stock, making sure everything matches the Bill of Materials and using engineering change orders as needed.
We are looking for a full-time Reverse Logistics Processor for our headquarters in Olathe, Kansas. In this role you will be responsible for processing credits toward customer accounts for returned items and receiving product into Oracle and MS Access. Other essential functions include:
Re-Route customer repair RMA’s, aviation units and other receipts to appropriate areas
Perform data entry of inventory transactions accurately
Rebox and weigh new and newly-overhauled units for return to stock
Sort, box and weigh accessories for return to stock
Prioritize workload using First In, First Out (FIFO)
Perform Oracle transactions accurately to ensure proper inventory count
Pick accessories as needed from stock for use in the rebox process
Perform cycle counts of inventory as required
Work closely with Engineers and Planners preparing shop orders and other special projects as assigned
Operate RF sealer and standard test equipment
Due to the amount of resources and expense exhausted in training for this position, a minimum of one year from the start of this position will be required before an associate is eligible for a job transfer.
Qualified Candidates possess a High School Diploma or GED and the ability to lift up to 55 pounds to effectively perform the essential functions of this job description. Other requirements include:
Requires the ability to stand, sit, and/or twist for extended periods of time
Requires the ability to visually distinguish minor cosmetic imperfections and defects on Garmin products
Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast paced environment
Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and remain flexible to meet department demand
Previous experience using Oracle and prior reverse logistics work experience in a large warehouse environment are highly preferred!
