Chief Operating Officer – Broker/Dealer

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Operating Officer will have overall responsibility for establishing the strategic direction and managing the day to day operations and systems functions of the firm. The COO will oversee the operations of the organization to meet business goals and projections.
Measurement and reporting on operations and technology performance and improvement will be critical responsibilities as well as developing plans to improve relevant key performance indicators, a primary deliverable. It is critical that the COO values and maintains a strong service culture to enhance relationships with our advisors.
The successful candidate will have fifteen plus years of experience in managing operations functions preferably in a self-clearing Broker/Dealer firm. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are a must for this executive committee position. Experience and knowledge of various trading and settlement platforms, as well as an understanding of IT systems, development, and imaging systems that impact work flow is required.
Licensures and Education:
Series 7 & Series 24 licenses, MBA or equivalent experience, and experience leading business integrations in financial services firms is preferred.
