Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Coordinator / Quality Control and Production Scheduler

Job Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator / Quality Control and Production Scheduler will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving operations, categorizing all products to meet quality standards, and making short term decisions on production priorities and schedules. This role requires a strong sense of organization, urgency, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipping and Receiving:
- Oversee and coordinate all shipping and receiving activities.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate and timely shipment of goods.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs forms.
- Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies and take appropriate action.
- Create, close, and monitor Purchase Orders.
Quality Control:
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure finished products meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Conduct regular inspections on finished products, recording results and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed records of quality control processes and outcomes.
Production Scheduling:
- Collaborate with the production manager and other departments to align production schedules with inventory levels and customer demands.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address delays or changes in demand.
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Able to become proficient with inventory and basic office software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, and bending throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
