Operations include preparation of informational materials and communication strategies addressed to prospective students, families, and counselors at high schools and community colleges, the technological infrastructure and personnel necessary to implement the multiple
dimensions of student recruitment and enrollment, the staff personnel
necessary to process applications for admission review, the staff personnel
who interface with high-school counselors and prospective students and families, both off- and on-campus, and the staff personnel who evaluate student applications for admission and potential award of merit
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree with ten years of work experience in related field.
Preferred Education and Experience
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, written and oral, the ability to interact successfully with individuals and groups, the capacity to manage complex financial structures, a grasp of the various legal ramifications of university admission and financial aid, and a record of success in student recruitment in the environment of a selective research
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Senior Director, in consultation with the Provost, has the responsibility for the strategies and the financial and personnel operations by which UT Dallas students are recruited, admitted, and enrolled.
The Director is responsible for the financial management of the budgets for staff personnel, for the costs of communications with prospective students, and of the UT Dallas merit scholarship programs.
