Trimble GC-CM - Professional Business Consultant
As a member of the Trimble Professional Services Team, you will play a key role in the success of a client’s implementation of Trimble products. The Consultant works closely with the Systems Architect, Sales & other Consultants to ensure that the designated work package(s) are delivered on budget and timescale to a satisfactory level of quality. You will discover and define client business requirements, document designs, configure, test, and train on customer implemented solutions. You will provide ongoing daily consulting services and deliverables to all existing customers, while generating new opportunities for potential sales.
Analyze customer business requirements and objectives
Participate in the development of project implementation plan and schedule
Work with client and other consultants to document solution requirements - functional and technical specifications that meet customer configuration, reporting, customization and integration requirements
Perform configuration of products according to approved design documents
Create test plans and conduct testing of solutions
Create user documentation/training materials and conduct training on the solution
Provide first level consulting and solution support for clients during active implementations
Assist with data conversion and integration
Create solution documentation and training materials
Communicate / resolve project issues that may impact the project’s success
Provide remote and onsite operational support, problem determination and resolution
Submit status reports as needed
Perform other duties as required
Characteristics / Skills
- Demonstrated experience implementing software solutions
- Demonstrated ability to learn software and new technologies with minimal guidance
- Basic knowledge of construction processes
- Strong business acumen, high energy, self-motivated and ability to work under pressure

Education / Experience
Associates degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent combination of relevant experience (survey, construction management, civil engineering) required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
A minimum of two years work experience in engineering or construction company and/or projects
Knowledge of Trimble Civil Engineering and Construction hardware and software highly desirable
Knowledge of Civil Engineering and Construction deliverables (data prep, mass haul, takeoff, linear schedules, as-builting, 3D earthworks models)
