Role and Responsibilities
The Senior Staff Systems Engineer-Azure will concentrate on the Implementation and Support of Cloud Infrastructure and Applications for operations. Included in the focus areas is the implementation, securing and management of Cloud Infrastructure and Applications, cloud monitoring, deployment & provisioning tools.
Contribute to the deployment of infrastructure solutions meeting standardization, consolidation, TCO, security, regulatory compliance and application system qualities, for different businesses. You will work across multiple technical or functional domains.
Provide hands-on technical management of Cloud Infrastructure and Applications.
Primary hours are 8am to 5pm Monday – Friday.
Must participate in 24x7 rotation including on-call and off hours support.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
BS /MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of system engineering/administration experience in large scale PaaS or SaaS environment.
Experience with delivering solutions based on enterprise application and web server technologies.
Experience in one or more of: Perl, Python, PowerShell or scripting language.
Experience working with a Kubernetes open-source container-orchestration system
Experience working directly with Microsoft Azure Cloud provider/infrastructure, physical/hybrid data centers, database technologies, operating systems (Windows, Linux) and orchestration tools (Chef, Ansible, VSTS), and Network Security rules.
Networking: experience with network theory e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, etc., MAC addresses, IP packets, DNS, OSI layers, and load balancing.
Experience in Microsoft Active Directory management and configuration
Strong oral and written English. Experience in writing technical documentation a plus
