The Senior Director, Health Services, will be the leader of across-functional team that is delivering exciting new health services offerings to CVS retail stores and in the community. This fast-paced team will work together very closely to address how service concepts translate into in-store and community experience, develop implementation strategy, and lead initial operationalization and execution to ensure a successful pilot launches of new HealthHUB stores,interventions within them and connection to the surrounding community assets.Post-pilot, this team will continue to monitor and work with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize the new service offerings. This is a high priority initiative for CVS’s retail business and the business planning, pilot, and results will be overseen by the most senior leaders of our Retail and Transformation organizations. This role will have responsibility for launching and running highly visible new health services.

Fundamental Components:
The Senior Director, Health Services, will be the leader of a cross-functional team that is delivering exciting new health services offerings to CVS retail stores and in the community. This fast-paced team will work together very closely to address how service concepts translate into in-store and community experience, develop implementation strategy, and lead initial operationalization and execution to ensure a successful pilot launches of new HealthHUB stores, interventions within them and connection to the surrounding community assets. Post-pilot, this team will continue to monitor and work with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize the new service offerings. This is a high priority initiative for CVS’s retail business and the business planning, pilot, and results will be overseen by the most senior leaders of our Retail and Transformation organizations. This role will have responsibility for launching and running highly visible new health services.

The position will report to the VP, Community Asset and Medical Cost Savings Integration and will provide significant exposure to management across CVS’s businesses as well as ongoing professional development opportunities. There is also a need for strong, day-to-day collaboration with the Retail organizations overall, especially the Front-Store and Retails Operations organizations. This role will lead the piloting and roll-out of new health services in alignment with a broad set of internal and external stakeholders. These services will improve customer engagement and provide greater health improvement opportunities, along with our other health services offerings.

This role would suit someone with a strong background in developing and launching new services and experiences in consumer health, experience leading and motivating high-performing cross-functional teams, experience aligning disparate teams and their leadership across large organizations, an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for delivering results. This position will have the following responsibilities:

Lead overall new health services operational and execution plans, including pilot launch and operations and expected further rollout. High-level work streams include:

Assess the local market dynamics and need for community asset integration and B2B and B2C business development opportunities

Develop and execute overall pilot plan and expansion plan

Define operational model to ensure program success and measurement criteria

Contribute to the development of a full marketing plan for launch

Develop digital and IT enablers

Develop in-store customer experience implementation plan

Measure program results and assess customer feedback in order to refine product, service, and go-to-market plans prior to further rollout

Form strong working relationships with and coordinate with a variety of internal supporting teams (e.g., Transformation, Retail, Clinical Operations, MinuteClinic, Marketing, IT, HR, Legal, Finance, etc.); coordinate with any external consulting resources as required

Interface with senior leadership and provide frequent updates; ensure all resources required to support effective program launch are available; clear any and all project roadblocks to keep execution on-time

Background Experience:
5+ years consulting and/or business management experience

3+ years-experience leading new business initiatives in a well-regarded consumer-facing and/or healthcare organization(s) with demonstrated results

Strong project management skills: organized, detail-oriented, and structured thinker and doer with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust priorities as needed in order to meet deadlines; high level of independent judgment and proactivity required

Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment. Must possess excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, including the ability to interact with, gain credibility, build relationships, and influence others at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership

Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and high-energy individual who can easily function in a high-demand, performance-driven environment with significant exposure to senior leadership; experience driving similar projects and developing new products with demonstrated results

Ability to communicate effectively to all audiences in a manner that is clear, logical, and consistent, both verbally and on paper

Ability to inspire, excite, and motivate organizations and teams to rally behind a promising new opportunity and drive positive change
