The Support Specialist is a primary point of contact for after the point of sale to new and existing clients within a geographic area. The Support Specialist is charged with driving client success and building one-on-one relationships with the company's stakeholders within the hospital. The Support Specialist must have the ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of hospital contacts/clients including housekeeping staff, EVS management, Infection Preventionists, Floor Nurses, Bed Control, Epidemiologist, Facilities/Operations VP’s, CNO, COO and other C-Suite executives that may monitor programs from a high level. The Support Specialist will help to ensure client goals and objectives are aligned with the Clinical and Program Management plans, typically custom developed for each client. Further, they monitor client performance through the company portal and drive utilization of company products to validate those goals and expectations. If utilization declines, the Support Specialist provides liaison support to the client in order to bring their program back in line. The Support Specialist is responsible for service of existing devices and supporting product warranty obligations. For difficult service issues or multiple devices requiring service support the Support Specialist may be accompanied by a corporate Technical Specialist that has been trained in all aspects of a product service requirement. The key role of the Support Specialist is to pick-up as the primary point of contact for the Regional Sales Manager (RSM), so that the RSM can focus on new device sales and bringing potential new deals to a close, resulting in new purchase orders. The secondary sales role of the Support Specialist is identifying existing clients who may require additional company products/devices and delivering information to the RSM, visiting potential customers in the acquisition process in coordination with the Technical Specialists direct reports (Operations and Program Management) and the RSM. The Support Specialist may qualify leads before the RSM takes over, and may cold call hospitals in the course of travels related to Program Management and Service support site visits. The person in this role has responsibility for supporting Regional Sales Managers by providing a wide range of administrative and sales support activities that aid in improving performance and meeting sales objectives.
***Overnight travel is expected with the Sales Support role and package includes a $500/mo car allowance and bonus potential of up to $10,000
