The Hawthorne Inn of Winter Haven, an Assisted Living Facility, is seeking an Activities Coordinator. This is a full-time position. MUST be able to work weekdays, from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm and alternating weekends and holidays. MUST have experience in activities working with elderly, Dementia and Alzheimer's Residents in assisted living or nursing home setting. EXPERIENCED ONLY need apply. Family Extended Care (The Hawthorne Inn of Winter Haven) is a not-for-profit organization delivering compassionate care to our residents. As an Activity Coordinator you will be responsible for developing, planning and implementing activity programs for the residents, as well as engaging the residents in activities. Similar experience working with elderly, Dementia and Alzheimer's residents required.It is essential to have time management skills, an outgoing attitude, to be flexible, and too want to work as part of a team.
