Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and client-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales, and ensuring the smooth operation of our venue.
Must possess the confidence and presence to assert authority in situations that require crowd management and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities:
- act as the Person in Charge for the duration of event bookings.
- Setup and Breakdown: Oversee the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring that the venue is ready and restored to its original condition post-event.
- Inventory Management: Maintain and manage an inventory of venue supplies and equipment
- Technical Support: Ensure that the venue's lighting, sound, and AV systems are functioning properly for events. Operate sound and lighting systems as needed
- Safety Compliance: Ensure clients comply with health and safety regulations and that all safety protocols are followed during events.
- Interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness of all studio areas before and after bookings including sweeping, mopping, trash, and bathrooms
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
- Lead pre-event setup including building stage, moving furniture, setting up pipe & drape, etc.
- Anticipate and attend to the unique needs of event clients.
- Create content for social media during events.
You will be trained to operate all in-house equipment including sound system, microphones, and lighting.
Minimum Experience:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Background in events
Preferred Experience:
- Social media, marketing, and direct outreach
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Comfortable with heights
- Ability to reach company location via public transportation (Jefferson Street - L)
- Regular Evening, Night, and Weekend availability
We cannot guarantee any number of hours per week as we are booked by appointment only. You can help increase your hours by bringing in new business and taking the initiative to perform relevant direct outreach.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week

- Events management: 4 years (Preferred)
