Project Manager


Watermark is seeking an Project Manager/Engineer with a minimum of 10 years’ experience to perform effective management of environmental project work and lead engineering efforts associated with groundwater and wastewater treatment. This position will include oversight of projects and engineering tasks that include remedial investigation, remedial design, engineering and operation of water treatment systems, remediation and other related environmental projects in support of State, Local, Federal, Industrial, and commercial clients. This exciting opportunity offers a growth position in a team-oriented environment for an individual with an established track record performing wastewater treatment engineering and project a Seller/Doer. Candidate should be self-motivated and able to work on projects with variable complexity with the desire and ability to build a strong support team.

Key Responsibilities

Work with team to identify new clients, teaming relationships, programs and projects.
Lead and prepare proposals and cost estimates
Network with new and existing clients to effectively position for and develop work opportunities
Manage environmental consulting, and process engineering design projects.
Lead engineering teams for water and wastewater treatment engineering project/tasks.
Manage program and project contracts, budgets and schedules
Perform, analyze and report on specific environmental project tasks under general supervision and research and recommend solutions to technical problems in accordance with accepted scientific/engineering practices and principles.
Some daytime and overnight travel is expected (25-30% of the time).
Work with and mentor junior and mid-level staff on environmental projects.
Work effectively with team members as well as independently.
