Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is looking for an Administrative Assistant in our Compliance Department

Position Title: Administrative Assistant (Compliance Admin)

Position Summary:
The Compliance Admin provides administrative and clerical support for the Compliance department by performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, answering phone calls, running various reports. The is a 30-hour per week position (benefits eligible) and reports directly to the Vice President of Compliance.

Principal Responsibilities:
Provides a wide range of office administration and support to the Compliance department.
Serve as the primary back up for the Lead Compliance Administrator and will maintain the Facial Recognition database in their absence.
Maintain various logs and reports on a daily/weekly basis.
Serves as a liaison to field offices and employees.
Maintains professionalism and strict confidentiality with all company materials and visitors.
Performs administrative and office support, such as typing, dictation, spreadsheet creation, faxing, and maintenance of filing system.
Carefully follows established policy framework to resolve problems.
Assists with assembling documentation for internal and external purposes.
Supports and assists department with special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Possibility for occasional travel, but travel is not a requirement.

Education & Experience Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, college-level accounting classes or Accounting Degree preferred.
1-2 years experience working in an office environment.
Experience in exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information.

Skills & Abilities Qualifications:
Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
Excellent customer service and professional interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively listen, write, proof-read, and follow-up with all levels of internal and external customers.
Ability to demonstrate common sense, sound judgement and analytical skills with minimum direction to resolve problems or discrepancies within the essential job functions.
Willingness to work both independently and as an effective team member with a diverse group of people.
High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and decision-making ability with the capacity to effectively perform in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with excellent time-management, prioritization and organizational skill.

Occasionally: Kneeling, squatting, sense of touch, manual dexterity, reaching, range of motion, lifting, carrying, lifting over 10lbs to 50lbs.

Frequently: Standing, walking, stooping, climbing stairs.

Continuously: Sitting, body twisting, speaking clearly, seeing distant, seeing, reading, hearing – speech range, depth perception, lifting up to 10lbs.
