The RF/Microwave Technician will be expected to test RF/Microwave circuits, filters, amplifiers, detectors, mixers and complex integrated microwave assemblies with supervision.
2nd Shift Monday through Friday 3:00pm to 12:30am (9 hours). Friday 3:00pm to 7:00pm (4 hours). 10% shift differential.
Experience with network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, sources & oscilloscopes
Perform tests on Automated and Manual Test stations
Ability to test digital and analog circuitry to the component
Facilitate the root cause and corrective action failure analysis
Test equipment and correlation and evaluation and implement process and product improvements
Associates Degree in Electronic or Electronic Technical Certification is preferred
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience
Due to the nature of the government contracts Herley supports, this position requires U.S. citizens
Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards
Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors
Ability to adhere to workplace rules
Ability to follow Acceptance Test Procedures specifications and other required documentation
Knowledge of the defense industry
