Job Title: ABA Administrative Assistant (fully remote)

Positive Reinforcement ABA Therapy, Inc. is an established agency with over 11 years of providing high quality behavior support for children with autism. Our agency continues to grow and with that growth we are seeking an experienced ABA Administrative Assistant to join our team for 20-30 hours per week. Under the direction of our management, this individual will exercise independent judgement while adhering to established policies, procedures, regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
The individual we are seeking must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· 1+ years billing and coding experience required. Knowledge in ABA therapy billing is a plus.
· 1+ years use of Central Reach Billing System
Required Skills and Abilities:
· Ability to meet strict deadlines
· Ability to communicate clearly both written and verbal communication
· Able to work independently with detail and accuracy
· Excellent interpersonal communication skills
· Ability to act with discretion, tact, and professionalism in all situations
· Ability to work well within a team environment
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)
· Ability to use a copier and scanner
· Must be able to pass a background check
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Performs all necessary tasks to provide overall direction and support in billing, accounts received and other related areas
· Analyze billing and claims for accuracy and completeness
· Ensure that the correct coding and compliance guidelines are being followed
· Maintains systems, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all contractual obligations of payers
· Responsible for monitoring reimbursements and communicating denials with the appropriate payor.
· Effectively communicates with employees and hold yourself accountable for meeting those same expectations
· Assist with work allocation and problem resolution
· Eager to take on new tasks/responsibilities to help us develop best practices
· Performs other related duties as assigned
· Will be required to take a HIPAA training course and ensure ongoing security of protected health information
