Trial consulting firm is seeking a full-time design director with advanced working knowledge of Powerpoint, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, video editing, video deposition software, 3d software, Flash, AfterEffects, Word, and Excel.
This position will oversee 5 in-house designers in a close team-oriented environment, managing workflow for multiple projects from inception to completion with a strong focus on client services. As the Director of the Information Design Studio, you must communicate design, style and deadline expectations, ensure a high standard of work while maintaining a positive working environment. You will interface with a team of in-house attorneys, as well as the firm’s clients, who are also attorneys.
Applicants must be comfortable working directly with law firm clients in a formal business setting. Detail-oriented, punctual, self-managed person is the best fit for this job.
At least 5-7 years of relevant experience and a background in legal graphics is required.
Creativity is important because customized illustrations are required to explain complex concepts to jurors. The ability to analyze information and translate it into visual metaphors and tutorials for courtroom presentation will be one of the primary roles of this job. A successful candidate will have the ability to brainstorm to create custom demonstratives describing complex concepts, render detailed illustrations, creating visually interesting timelines, document excerpts, graphs, and tables, as well as completing in-house marketing projects, such as website design and e-newsletters.
This position is fast-paced and often requires meeting high-pressure, fast-turnaround deadlines.
