The Coordinator- Claims (Testing) will complete claims validation for client testing requests, new client implementations and system stability testing. This role will be the liaison to Testing Lead, Claims Manager, Claims Sr. Manager and other internal customers to identify claims processing discrepancies due to system setup issues that require cross functional partnership and retesting.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain claims testing scenario spreadsheets.
Work with internal customers to ensure proper system setup necessary for claims testing.
Validate the integrity of claims data in the claims and payments UAT systems.
Track testing defects and the status of defect resolution through re-testing
Conduct end to end testing, coordinating with both upstream and downstream departments to ensure smooth hand-offs between Claims/Payments and other teams dependent on our testing results.
Assist in driving claims testing and issue resolution processes including cross-functional communication with internal customers and IT to identify concerns, create plans to solve and ensure testing is meeting the needs of our constituents (plans, members and providers).
Analyze and report testing results with the goal of smooth transition to the Eyemed claims and payments production systems.
Maintains effective, on-going communication with key internal customers.
High School Diploma
3+ years of experience in data processing
Knowledge of PCs and spreadsheet applications
Knowledge of mid-range computer applications and query reporting
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
2 years of process management experience
Working knowledge of Facets, SAP, Business Objects
Highly effective oral and written communication skills
