As a Commercial Real Estate Leasing Associate, you will be part of a hands-on program working with and learning from our successful agents. You will be responsible for:
Interacting with clients and prospective clients, in conjunction with experienced brokers, for the purpose of selling or leasing of commercial real estate.
Running searches and preparing reports on competitive market data.
Preparing, typing, and assembling a variety of real estate related documents and correspondence.
Preparing marketing presentation materials for distribution to clients.
Creating maps and aerial photos using available software.
Preparing mailing lists from data derived databases.
Preparing mail and overnight packages for shipping.
Accompanying senior brokers on property tours
Other general office and administrative tasks as delegated by a Senior Brokerage Associate.
In order to qualify for our program:
Candidates must have a minimum two (2) year degree or equivalent.
Must have relevant sales experience.
A real estate license is not initially required; however, those that are accepted into the program will be required to obtain their Michigan salesperson license within a designated time period.
As local travel is a part of the position, a valid driver’s license is required.
Strong computer skills (including a proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Publisher, and quick/accurate typing skills)
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Excellent writing skills and a high level of determination and self-motivation
