Clinic will be located inside Fox Hills Mall in Culver City. Clinic scheduled to open in July. Training starts June 4, 2018. Clinic open 7 days a week during business mall hours, including weekends and some holidays.
Supervise the front and back office staff involved in outpatient care, appointment scheduling, registration and billing. Demonstrate a leadership style that promotes enthusiasm and dedication to the facility and its administration. Assure adequate coverage during staff absences to guarantee minimal disruption of reception/patient services activities. Recruit and maintain a qualified front and back office staff to meet the needs of the medical practice. Work with Supervisor to manage the scheduling of appointments and referrals in order to ensure high quality support services is provided to physicians and patients, to ensure a steady patient flow and productive patient physician facility relationships. Work with Lead Physician, Director and MSOIII to plan and prepare for annual budget, integrating organizational goals, patient care standards and administrative requirements. This includes forecasting for need of capital equipment, number of patient visits, and any staff requirements.
Demonstrate ability to work effectively with the public in a health care setting and to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients in varying degrees of health, and their families in a high volume continuous public contact setting. Demonstrate effective supervisory skills including experience in recruitment, performance appraisal, identification and communication of expectations, discipline and training. Ability to interact and communicate with physicians, directors, managers, nurses, front and back office staff. Writing skills to prepare accurate and concise reports and memorandums that clearly convey information utilizing appropriate vocabulary and grammar. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive and confidential information using judgment and discretion. Skill in listening perceptively, conveying awareness and responding to patients with health concerns, using tact and discretion. Working knowledge of major medical insurance plans and types of coverage provided. Ability to creatively integrate competing demands of a high-volume patient care setting into a productive working environment and maintain equanimity under pressure of frequent interruptions and/or distractions. Ability to work occasional weekends or evenings as required. Knowledge of Microsoft word and excel preferred.
