Primavera is seeking a dynamic individual to join our innovative team as an Adjunct English Instructor
Here’s what to expect:
Provide communication to students and parents on a weekly basis via phone, email, text message, and other means
Lead live virtual classroom lessons via Adobe Connect both for the class as a whole and on an individual basis as needed
Grade student work within 24-48 hours of being submitted
Provide feedback and suggestions on all submitted assignments
Post blogs in each course that motivates the students to participate in the daily lesson and build the classroom community
Manage the discussion board in each class to encourage participation and learning in the virtual classroom
Meet weekly expectations as outlined in teacher training
The Successful Candidate possesses:
Arizona Teachers Certification with an endorsement in English or meet the highly qualified standards as outlined by the Arizona Department of Education
Current valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
2+ years’ teaching experience in the High School and/or Middle School level
Experience in online education, either as a teacher or student, highly preferred
