Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality care for our residents in a supportive environment. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in retirement homes, assisted living facilities, and home care settings. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, ensuring resident rights are respected, and promoting a safe and nurturing atmosphere.
Duties
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the health and well-being of residents.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering positive relationships.
- Administer first aid when necessary and respond to emergencies in accordance with established protocols.
- Implement behavior management techniques as needed to support residents with specific needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by following health and safety regulations.
- Uphold resident rights by treating all individuals with dignity and respect while maintaining confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Min proven 10 years previous experience in home care, assisted living, or retirement home settings is required
- CBRF Certification required, additional CNA certification preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Familiarity with behavior management systems is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time
