Hello. Here's the deal. We have tests that we wrote based on laws. Laws change, our tests need to change. We are looking for someone that can update the tests if the code section has changed. If not, move on to next one.
Here is a list of typical job functions and abilities you may need to have or do..
#Familiarity with using MS Word and Excel (basic skills)
#Ability to search online for the most current Rules or Regulations on a topic of in a specific state.
**Example: State of California Health and Safety Code sections 3342.1 - 3789
#Create documents from new regs and format appropriately.
#Rewrite test questions as needed and watch for grammar and spelling errors.
#Locate online specific departments or state agencies across the US.
#Self-Motivation and an ability to work independently with no supervision.
Initially we are looking for an individual that can help us during this update process. If things work out, we would also like to extend this into a new project of test creation.
You do not need a degree in English to proof read the tests, basic English literacy and a watchful eye, will catch the errors.
There are around 20 different state exams that all need updating, along with new documentation. Most states have at least 2 tests, 50 questions per test, that's about 2000 questions that will all need to be retyped into our spreadsheet then printed to PDF.
We can train anyone to do just anything, but you cannot change who a person is. So most importantly we are looking for someone that we can get along with well enough to finish this project.
