Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a vibrant dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing outstanding customer service, taking orders, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain food safety standards will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly while presenting menus and providing information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the OpenTable system, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, adhering to fine dining standards of presentation and service.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase restaurant revenue.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders while adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Process payments accurately using the cash register, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining a safe dining environment.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
