Position and Company Description:

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Team Leader who is looking for the next challenge – a job with great benefits, work environment and opportunities, leading a sales team to success and higher sales. The candidate must have a minimum of 10-15 years of sales experience, with at least 5 or more of those years at the same company. A proven track record of leading a sales team to success along with their own history of creating consistent new business sales is essential.

The Director of Sales and Marketing position is responsible for developing and implementing an effective sales strategy and will be a critical member of the leadership team as the company grows. This person will direct and manage the sales team members, establish sales quotas, manage budgets and evaluate sales performance. They will also manage and develop marketing programs and materials such as event support and online promotions.

Successful candidates will be paid a competitive base salary based on experience, plus commission.

Based near Philadelphia in Wayne, PA, AudioCARE Systems is a dynamic software development company serving government and private sector healthcare providers for 25 years. This position is full time, M-F, and requires some travel in the US. EEO

Responsibilities include:

  • Create and implement strategic sales and marketing plans that successfully achieve business objectives
  • Direct and supervise the sales team, planning, monitoring and appraising job results
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients, including negotiating and closing on major contracts
  • Monitor competitors’ products, including relevant sales and marketing data
  • Develop an operating budget for the sales division that meets business goals
  • Use available data to accurately forecast sales and set appropriate performance goals
  • Complete market research and analyze results to adjust sales and marketing strategy for maximum success


  • College degree > 10 years’ experience in sales or other customer-facing roles. Experience in healthcare, SaaS, and/or enterprise software sales; selling to the healthcare IT community is ideal.
  • Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture
  • Ability to identify and solve client issues strategically
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to prepare reports and use of appropriate mode of communication. Must be proficient at analyzing data, building reporting and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and sales tools, including Salesforce or other CRM and online meeting software systems, and with analyzing sales data.
  • Proven leadership competence: hire, coach, communicate, manage performance.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Some travel required
