The Tool House Inc, headquartered out of New Berlin, WI is a 34+ year old industrial solutions provider to the manufacturing segment in the upper Midwest. Through a consultative team approach, we can improve our client‘s profitability through solutions that increase their productivity, raise their quality metrics and improve their ergonomics. Our core competencies focus on implementing software and mechanical solutions to help our customers do their jobs faster and safer, while improving their overall quality. Other parts of our core expertise include, IoT for assembly plants and Assembly Technology such as DC Electric tools & Error Proofing Systems, Material Handling that include Cranes, Hoists and Manipulators along with Material Removal solutions.

Due to our continual growth we need to add to our inside staff a Sales Support Project Manager. This is a great opportunity for the right individual with a few years of experience that wants to take their career to the next level.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Proposal development - Develop professional quotes from information provided by outside sales, vendors or obtained on own.
  • Project Coordination - Management for order review, design review, lead time review, logistics review, and costing summarization. Be the point of contact / liaison for Outside Sales, Customer, & Vendor.
  • Order processing - Enter Sales Orders from purchase orders received from clients and continue following through until solution is shipped and invoiced.

Qualification Requirements.

  • Degree - Preferred but not necessary.
  • Two years of experience minimum.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational skills – ability to prioritize
  • ERP usage experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Friendly, positive and resilient attitude
  • Self-starter that has strong time management skills
  • Strong ability to collaborate and willingness to assist the team
  • Ability to comprehend technical product data
  • Mechanical aptitude

A plus but not required if candidate possess design software skills and experience.

  • Design from concept and sketches approval drawings with details.
  • Produce Parts, Assemblies, and Detailed Fabrication Drawings in Solidworks 2015 or later.
  • Edit/Create 2D layout drawings in ACAD or similar formats.
  • Some travel may be required, but very minimal.
