Marketing Analyst

This position is responsible for SEI web analytics & working with internal partners to coordinate, conceptualize and implement A/B tests.
Report and analyze website performance, visitor behavior and engagement
Combine data from multiple platforms/sources and independently produce actionable analysis/recommendations to drive strategy and improve the site performance
Responsible for the web analytics infrastructure, and for designing, interpretation and delivery of comprehensive reports on website performance and visitor behavior.
Work with management and stakeholders to identify requirements and delivery relevant/actionable analysis
Participate in cross functional projects as needed
Identify areas of opportunity to improve website performance

Job Skills:
Proficient with analysis and reporting tools (Adobe Analytics Suite, Cognos, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, GA, Tableau, etc)
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent verbal skills are required. Must be able to communicate the key features of complex data analysis in an easy to understand manner to peers of all sophistication levels.
Must be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines
Ability to extract findings from analysis and formulate and communicate short and long-range marketing and business suggestions that support or modify the overall strategic direction
Experienced and trustworthy spokesperson for the company. Able to navigate difficult customer experiences and online issues with forethought and consideration
Ability to work well independently as well as with a team
Proactive and forward thinking – initiates ideas and strategies
Ability to work as part of a creative and results-oriented team
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, vendors, and staff
Ability to understand technical requirements of analytics, tagging, and testing and help troubleshoot issues when needed

Work Experience:
4-8 years of experience in business analytics, data analytics and/or Web analytics.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field; or a combination of education and experience providing the skills normally associated with a bachelor’s degree


Must be able to travel 5% of time.
Must be able to lift 25lbs.
Typical office setting.
Mobility within the office including movement from floor to floor.
Travel via plane, car, and metro may be required to perform this job.
Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant
Access information using a computer.
Effectively communicate, both up and down the management chain.
Effectively cope with stressful situations
Strong mental acuity
