Associate Veterinarian
Oasis Veterinary Hospital is looking for a veterinarian for part-time to full-time employment in a well-established, community servicing practice on the Martinez-Pleasant Hill border in the East Bay.
Oasis Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned and AAHA accredited. Our caseload is about 50% dogs and cats and 50% reptiles and exotic companion mammals. We strive to provide cutting edge care tailored to the individual pet and client’s needs.
We are fully equipped with brand new, state of the art equipment (including ultrasound, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, comprehensive in-house laboratory, radiosurgery, and critical care requirements). We work closely with local specialists and emergency hospitals to make sure our patients get the care that they need.
Full time employment is a 4 day work week. No weekend hours or after hours calls are required.
Experience with or a strong desire to treat all small mammals and reptiles is a must.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills with clients and our team.
We have a highly talented and caring support team that enjoys caring for all species and working closely with the veterinary team. We have 5 full time RVTs on staff as well as 1-2 dedicated assistants per veterinarian per day. All team members are Fear-Free certified and we strive to provide a low stress environment for all species in our care.
Compensation is a daily base plus production commission. Benefits include, but not limited to, medical insurance, dental and vision insurance, 401K with matching program, PTO, CE allowance, and license and membership fees.
