Primary Function

Responsible for assisting members with routing services, general travel information, booking members on various transportation carriers, making reservations (hotel, car rental, vacation packages, cruises, tours) using Travel Point system and processing payments.

Essential Responsibilities

Maintain relationship with members in regards to travel products and planning trips
Confers with Travel Manager on daily basis in regards to reviewing & making recommendations to improve procedures for specialized area of travel sales.
Market and cross-sell travel products to ensure member travel needs are met
Negotiates with International carriers for contracted rates
Maintain product knowledge and travel industry standards
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Great communication skills, including verbal and written
Ability to empathize with clients and listen to understand their needs when providing customer service and follow-up
Strong ability to build relationships with clients and obtain referrals for future business
Motivated by meeting and exceeding performance goals
Flexible and adaptable to changing client and business needs
Strong display of enthusiasm and passion for career advancement
Willing to invest time in destination, product, computer, sales & customer service training
Knowledge of computer technology with basic understanding of Microsoft Office and Internet
Ability to learn cutting edge travel technology
Basic math skills


1 – 2 years of Customer Service experience, required

1 – 2 years of Sales experience, required

Likes to work in an exciting, fast paced atmosphere!

Hours of operation:
Monday - Thursday 7am to 10pm
Friday - 7am to 7pm
Saturday - 9am to 6pm
Sunday - 1pm - 6pm
