PASSages is an intensive, short-term (2-4 week), inpatient treatment program for men and women 18 and older who suffer from substance use disorders but do not require detox. The program provides individual counseling sessions and comprehensive case management services to each client along with at least seven treatment groups per day, run by all team members. PASSages is an exciting, dynamic environment in which all members of the multidisciplinary team work together to ensure the best outcomes for our clients. Provide oversight of specified program components.
Participate on Project Evaluation Team and in quality improvement activities.
Oversee supervision of clinical care and treatment interventions in program milieu.
Participate in program specific clinical teams
Ensure operational budget for programs is reconciled.
Orient and supervise program staff, Ensure program staff is trained to Divisional and Agency procedures.
Oversee referral admissions, and discharges policies in PASSages and strive to maintain maximum capacity
Evaluate staffing patterns and coverage, programmatic structure, treatment interventions and services offered on site in order to ensure safety, security and quality care to residents.
Take personnel Action in regard to hiring, performance management review and disciplinary procedures.
Coordinate facility compliance with licensing standards; coordinate upkeep of environment of care.
Participate in on-call through the emergency beeper system.
Serve as liaison among other Divisions and with other agencies in order to facilitate a continuum of care
Encourages and supports diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, respect, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.
Masters of Social Work or a related field OR Registered Nurse
Minimum of 5 years of management experience with programs serving women and families, and knowledge of substance abuse and dual diagnosis with specific experience and/or training.
Ability to implement program policies and procedures in order to maintain daily structure and consistency within the program milieu and maintain compliance with DPH licensing standards .
Ability to effectively communicate and develop positive professional relationships with clients, staff and co-workers and outside professionals.
Knowledge of substance abuse treatment and mental health which reflects current treatment models, familiarity with 12-Step programs and capacity to provide effective clinical care and program management.
Ability to provide supervision, evaluation, and leadership to program staff as well as ability to understand and manage fiscal component of program and adhere to budgetary guidelines.
Must be able to pass a CORI background check
