As a critical member of the Innovation Delivery team, the Innovation Architect will play a key role in digital transformation and digital innovation projects from end-to-end, including scoping, design, architecture, application development, and technical leadership. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who has had extensive experience architecting and implementing digital transformation solutions, building and managing client relationships, and is comfortable on a small team.
In this role, you will:
Apply design thinking and digital innovation methods to solve complex customer problems with a user-centered approach
Facilitate architecture and design sessions to help clients scope new digital innovation solutions and applications
Provide technical leadership for client implementations, with responsibility for managing agile development, user story tracking, playback sessions, and organizing development tasks for small team of developers
Work with CTO/Head of Delivery to lead development, testing, and production deployment of client solutions, ensuring that the team delivers high-quality applications
Serve as lead developer, playing a key role in coding complex user stories and building components that can be reused across a given project or multiple projects
Establish and maintain architecture best practices, and help continuously refine delivery methodology and project estimation approaches
Mentor and coach junior and mid-level Innovation Engineers on development best practices and document workarounds and resolutions to development roadblocks
Support business development, marketing, and thought leadership efforts for public and private innovation workshops, innovation consulting, and partner interactions.

Solid software development background, with 10+ years of experience developing enterprise-scale web/cloud-based solutions for private and public sector clients
At least 5 years in a technical leadership role across all stacks (front-end and back-end)
Experience leading end-to-end solution development, from inception to production
Experience with SaaS architecture in a cloud setting (e.g., AWS, Azure), leveraging containerization, serverless technologies, event driven architecture, and microservices
Experience designing and implementing solutions using leading digital automation, CRM, and/or robotic automation platforms, such as Pegasystems, Appian, and IBM.
Candidates with Pega CSSA, Scrum, and/or Design Thinking certifications will be given higher preference
Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is highly desirable.

Willingness to travel 30% - 40%
B.S. in Computer Science or related field preferred.
