Job Summary:
Briarpatch Restaurant is looking for an Assistant General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated leader with a passion for food and hospitality. As the Assistant General Manager, you will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of the restaurant
- Supervise and coordinate staff to provide excellent service
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards
- Oversee kitchen operations including food production and quality control
- Manage POS systems, particularly Aloha POS
- Handle shift management and scheduling
- Lead and motivate team members through effective communication and mentorship
- Uphold company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve financial goals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the food industry
- Proficiency in kitchen operations, food management, and food safety practices
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated skills in team management and leadership
