Life Enrichment Coordinator ALU- Tuesday- Saturday 8:30am-5PM
As the Life Enrichment Coordinator you will spend you days planning and implementing all activities and events for the 38 bed assisted living Lodge at the award winning CCRC community of Eskaton Village Carmichael. You will also be coordinating with assistant activities staff and ensuring that an excellent activities program is created and implemented to reach every interest level of our diverse group of residents here at the ALU lodge.
Department and Position Background:
At Eskaton Village Carmichael (EVC), we refer to our Activities department as the "Life Enrichment Department." This title better reflects the mission of our staff and organization. We do not merely seek to help our residents be active; we aim to enrich their lives by presenting them with meaningful and engaging events and activities. Our mission is to transform the aging experience!
Life Enrichment Coordinator duties:
· Leading in the development, planning, and implementation of the various event and activity programs offered at EVC-ALU.
· Hosting and facilitating on-site activities and events for residents.
· Producing newsletters, flyers, event programs, and other materials as needed.
· Transporting residents to and from various appointments (e.g., a doctor’s visit).
· Chaperoning residents on off-site trips and at off-site events.
· Maintaining travel and maintenance logs for all vehicles used.
Strong candidates will have a least 2-3 years experience in leading an activities program in a senior living or skilled nursing environment.
You must have a caring heart and want to provide the best care possible for our amazing senior citizens who live with us at EVC.
We are looking for a true team player who will fit will with our rockstar team of healthcare professionals in the Assisted living lodge.
Candidates will possess a strong understanding of the operation of a PC, Microsoft Office Suite, typing skills and notices/flyer production.
Candidates must be 21 or older to be considered for the position.
Candidates should have a clean driving record with no citations for unsafe conduct or unsafe driving patterns.

Eskaton Village Carmichael is following a comprehensive COVID-19 mitigation plan developed from regulations and guidance put forward by the CDC, CDPH, and CDSS. We have an ample stockpile of PPE, we require periodic testing to be completed by employees.
