This individual is responsible for developing a cross functional SIOP process that captures both internal and external demands, reporting on actuals vs forecast. Meeting customer and safety stock goals while minimizing scrap. Manage inventory and cycle count activities. Provide guidance to Strategic Buyer Planner with respect to buy requirements and adjustments.

Strong inventory and planning knowledge.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Translate build plan requirements from SIOP into a daily production schedule for system manufacturing and consumables manufacturing
Coordinate with appropriate personnel to ensure manufacturing build plan is executed and issues are communicated to all appropriate stakeholders.
Creates production schedules and communicates changes balancing customer requirements with expiration dates and buy requirements to support all SIOP demand.
Works with management to resolve any scheduling issues.
Works with Buyer's to ensure supply needs are met.
Oversees the closure of MO's.
Ensures materials move through QC and are prioritized as needed.
Ensure ERP system reflects accurate lead-time, BOM structure and costs.
Reports out on key performance indicators (KPI's) such as cycle schedule performance and on time delivery to promise
Supports cross functional review of E&O material and reports out on reasons behind excess inventory
Key contributor to ensuring successful physical inventory preparation and execution.
PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Strong knowledge of supply chain lead times and production capacity
Prior experience with inventory control, production planning, manufacturing and scheduling.
Strong communication, problem solving abilities.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft word, Outlook and Excel and general MRP systems
Hands on, inventory management skills in support of ISO requirements.
Previous experience in an ISO or FDA regulated facility.
Bachelor's degree required
