Front Desk Coordinator maintains and manages the front desk area of our medical office while providing clerical/administrative support to our staff. The Front Desk Coordinator should be able to perform multiple functions at once (multitask). Managing regular duties while taking on additional projects as assigned requires a high level of organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
Customer service oriented and an outgoing personality are a must for dealing with our varied patient population. This position requires a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude towards the patients, physicians, and fellow employees. Must have strong people skills and be a team player. Individual must maintain a professional attitude while performing multiple tasks in a pressured environment. Individual must be innovative and self-motivating, engaging in tasks without being directed to do so. Individual must be detail oriented.
Good computer and typing skills are required with knowledge of EMR systems, Excel, and Word
This position starts early morning and requires an individual to stand for long periods of time.
