The Firm’s Corporate Treasury function and the Chief Investment Office (together referred to as “Treasury/CIO”) manage the Firm’s balance sheet. This includes activities such as:
Deploying the Firm’s excess liquidity
Managing the Firm’s funding and liabilities
Managing the Firm’s structural interest rate and foreign exchange risk
Managing the Firm’s liquidity risk and its regulatory compliance

The Treasury/CIO Chief Data Office (CDO) is responsible for ensuring high-quality data is available to support these activities. The Treasury/CIO Chief Data Office (CDO) implements firmwide data management standards and focuses on aligning T/CIO's data strategy to critical business initiatives, improving data capabilities and managing data compliance. The mission of the group is to provide a data strategy which will allow for better client service, more efficient and effective risk management, as well as operational & technological efficiencies. Our clients are primarily T/CIO Risk, Finance, Strategy and Operations teams.

This role sits within the T/CIO CDO Aggregation team, which focuses on data quality improvements and strategic sourcing solutions for T/CIO’s risk aggregation platforms. T/CIO Aggregation platform data is used for Liquidity Risk and Structural Interest Rate Risk.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Partner with product SMEs, Liquidity Controllers and Risk partners to define strategic data sourcing requirements arising from evolving regulations and new business initiatives.
Exhibit knowledge and control of various data architecture flows
Support work needed to drive adoption of data controls in the risk aggregation platforms.
Communicate reference data requirements to central teams.
Coordinate with the Firm’s Finance and Risk Roadmap program to ensure synergy with strategic plans
Collaborate with Agile Project and Middle Office teams to provide status updates on data quality remediation.
Compile and comment on weekly and monthly metrics distributed to senior management.
Ensure accuracy of the data quality workflow tool and perform the daily intake process for new data quality issues.
Drive the semi-annual data quality issue review with Liquidity Risk Controllers and Risk partners.
Chair the Aggregation Data Management Council meeting.
Drive small to medium projects.
Coach and mentor junior staff.

Experience Required:
5+ years of experience in a major financial services organization
3-5 years of project management experience
Advanced excels skills such vlookups, pivots tables, and multiple variables formulas
Excellent analytical skills: ability to organize and analyze large datasets, clean and refine data, interpret and report results to various audiences, and take responsibility for data quality assurance
Ability to handle multiple time sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered to the stakeholders.
Attention to detail - highly organized and excellent follow through and delivery
