Job Description:
Responsible for the transfer of packages/products off or onto trailers, containers, and railcars. This role may involve using hand trucks and heavy equipment such as single and double pallet jacks, pacers, or forklifts. Must be trained and OSHA certified to utilize heavy motorized equipment. Position requires building products/packages onto pallets or racks for transportation into the warehouse or removing products from pallets or racks onto shipping containers, trailers, or rail cars.
Compensation: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour based on production

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and understand packaging labels and breakdown sheets.
- Must be able to communicate and comprehend directions verbally and in writing.
- Understand basic math (block/tier).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as a team with great attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs to 70 lbs safely from floor to pallet or pallet to floor in a timely manner.
- Load and unload products from pallets, racks, or floor onto trailers, containers, and railcars. (Ideal candidates will have previous pallet jack experience.)
- Shrink wrap or tape products to secure for transportation.
- Identify damages and report to the lead or supervisor.
- Report shortages to the lead or supervisor.
- Ability to be trained on motorized equipment to be OSHA certified.
- Separate products by UPC code or product description.
- Apply all pallet identification labels to pallets built.
- Follow all safety regulations and company guidelines.
- Assist in keeping a safe working environment.
- Will be exposed to warehouse conditions of cold/heat/noise.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime as required.
- Must expedite completion of work to meet production schedules.
Qualifications:
- Physical requirements: You will be constantly standing, walking, riding, carrying, twisting, bending, balancing, seeing, hearing, and handling paperwork. You will always be lifting objects weighing less than 20 lbs up to 150 lbs. Occasionally, you will be pushing, sitting, touching, reaching, climbing, pulling, and gripping.
