Langan has an outstanding part-time opportunity available in the Information Technology discipline of our New York office. The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic, can-do attitude, will work on exciting projects and most importantly work in a team environment while gaining practical experience!

Responsibilities will include troubleshooting technical issues, repairing and maintaining all types of computer and peripheral hardware including: setting up and repairing PCs, peripherals, perform software installations, minor printer repair and support. Students may also provide support to the IT department's Network and Development teams, as needed. Requirements are listed below. (Hours of operation: 8:30 am – 5:15 pm Monday through Friday.)

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field preferred;
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater;
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Help Desk Support environment;
  • Ability to work a minimum of 30-35 hours per week;
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal;
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent customer service skills;
  • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment;
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications; and
  • Programming and/or networking experience a plus.
